Splendid British heritage

Here in Nuwara Eliya - high peak town in the center of Ceylon's tea plantations - colonial atmosphere is very present. My feeling is that town's boundaries and structure are basicaly determined by the huge golf field(s) that spreads all over the Eliya! Among other butaphories: post boxes, architecture, horse race course, Victoria Park and others. Even weather is kind'a British or Britain's here - cooler than elsewhere in Sri Lanka, often misty and grey! So I enjoy.
